Purple Finch’s nesting

The Purple Finches came back to our front porch to nest.  They picked a different spot which make it hard to catch the parents but once we get babies I hope to get better shots.  We have shutters on our windows and I can creep up if the shutters are slightly open but if I keep the shutters open they fly away before I can get the camera ready.  We may try to set something up so I can do a remote control.  Not sure.  But I am having fun watching them!!!
