I was up at the King's College British Science Festival which is in Aberdeen this year. I saw Sir Paul Nurse give a lecture on Great Ideas in Biology which was inspiring and fascinating in equal measures and has definitely given me somethings to think about.
I followed this up with The Festival of the Spoken Nerd who I'd seen previously at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe but this time was an hour longer.
