Low evening sun.  The person waiting had their hand up against the glare to see across.  The building with the arches on the far left is the library, which reminds me I need to go join.

Finally got outside after another full day of dealing with long-distance Portlandness.

It was 70ºF but the cool wind that picks up in the early evening definitely made it feel cooler.
