Basket of eggs

A wet and grey day so instead of a shot from the hills here is a blip of the eggs my aunt gave me from her chickens last week.  The natty little basket I found in Molly's Den, a vintage emporium in town.  It cost £3.50 so I shall have to get my money's worth out of it ;)

Apart from that, today is a day of my daughter digging up part of the so-called lawn to grow veg.  Of course helped by hazy Hazel, who - praise the Lord - is finally getting the message about going outside (in all senses of the word)!  And this afternoon I shall go and see my old gent and have a cup of tea with him.  How nice.
