Visit to Fire HQ

I had a meeting at Staffordshire Fire and Rescue Service HQ this morning - to talk about potential fires!  We've recently had fires at a number of large waste sites in the county and we are carrying out a review of all other sites to prioritise and (hopefully) minimise the possibility of any more.  

Their HQ is near Stone, on the A34 surrounded by farmland, rather than in a built up area.  As such this statue, that sits outside the offices, is rarely seen by the public.  I was smiling because the greatest evidence of interest in the statue was the bird poo on the shoulder of the kneeling fire fighter (you can't see the pile on the helmet of the rear most figure!).
