Hill Top House

On the way home today, we stopped to look around Hill Top House, the farmhouse owned by Beatrix Potter where she wrote many of her stories and completed her drawings. Todays Blip is of the desk where she worked. Its a fascinating place and in many of the rooms are some of her books opened at an illustration that can clearly be seen to have been drawn in this house or the garden.Worth visiting if you are in the Lake District. We're now safely back home after a wonderful break.
