He's usually de-tufted sometime between getting his face washed and going out of the door, but as a plant-skoosher of water is involved in the brushing process and he then puts on a balaclava under his bike hat and occasionally pokes a hand underneath it to scratch his head on the way in it's a wonder that they're not worse by the time he gets into school.
