Lovely light

What started out as a foggy, grey and rainy day suddenly turned glorious in the late afternoon.  So I headed out to Carkeek Park for the first time in months, to see what was blooming in the gardens.  There is not much out yet, but what there was was beautiful.  Unfortunately, I don't know what either of these plants is.  The branches were full of these dropping groups of little white flowers, and the bushes spread wide.  The pink flowers (Extra) were really striking - I like the way the dark shades into light.  It felt wonderful to be out in the fresh air and sunshine, and to know that there would be more blooming plants to see on my next visit.
