Preying Mantis

I watched a Mantis devour a big bumble bee three days ago trying to photograph it but didnt make an acceptable job so didnt blip it. I had been watching the same rose bush and sure enough today it had returned. I can only assume its the same mantis - on this occassion it just sat preying or is that praying ? I guess waiting for its food to come along. fascinating.!!
