Chaster Daisy Celebrations
Do you remember the cows on the dirt island after the Kaikoura earthquakes....take a look :)
I've just ticked over my 7 year blip (no gaps). After that long, blipping is just part of my day; it is this wonderful, generous, caring community that really spins my wheels, and special thanks to the famous four for the way they set to and saved this site. There have been many highlights over the last year. One of course being our unforgettable 8 week trip to Ireland, Scotland, Lake District and Italy. And in that time, I had numerous gatherings with blippers, truly brilliant - freespiral organised a memorable & enjoyable meet in Ireland, PaulaJ & Sheilwill organised a thoroughly enjoyable get together on the shores of Lake Windermere. I did a week workshop with John Gravett which was one of the many highlights and having Graham Colling travel up to meet me was special. And since then, we have met up with UK blippers here in our area.
Aside from blipping, we seem to lead a busy (retired) life, and I sometimes feel I'm not giving back as much to the blip community as I should. But, I guess we all have times like that don't we.
A foggy morning gave way to sunshine this afternoon - we got ourselves outside and washed all the outside windows, quite a task. The indoor windows now need to be done so we can enjoy the clear views we are so lucky to have.
Thank you all for your responses to my fungi blip yesterday, they are appreciated.
Rainie
