Everyone is sheltering from Cycline Debbie

The cyclone passed over the coast near the Whitsunday Islands with winds up to 263km / hr and heavy rain , thank goodness amazing preparation for evacuations and emergency services and despite structural building damage there was no loss of life .
Now the system has moved south and the heavy rain has reached us . Many local places are being evacuated , lots of flooding and hopefully it will all pass through overnight. We are safe and sound and are keeping off the roads
