Steak night!
Back-blipping.
Date night with hubby last night. We went to The Weaving Shed in Saltaire, which we've never been to, or even heard of until recently. Apparently, it's been there a while and has recently been refurbished due to getting flooded out during the boxing day floods. It's not in the village, it's tucked away in Victoria Mills and isn't easy to find. Wednesday night is steak night - two steaks and a bottle of house wine for £25. You don't get a choice on the steak, it was cote du boeuf/rib steak, which was fine by us. I'm not sure if it's the same every week, or if they change it up. Anyway, they brought out these giant plates with the steak, sautéed potatoes, two mushrooms, a grilled tomato, onion rings and a pot of beurre blanc sauce... giant. Then, he brought out a portion of chips too! Which is fairly insane - who needs chips AND sautéed potatoes?! It was delicious though and I'd recommend it.
Took this on the way there. It was dry, but very grey. I shoot Saltaire a lot and it's hard to find a different perspective, but I liked the lines here.
