Thursday To Do List....

Have been lucky enough to be sent some Dahlia seeds from Coventry University who are running a Blooms for Bees project over the next few months to see if the colour of a flower affects the bees attracted to it!  So I think they've sent out over 2,000 packs of Dahlia seeds - white, red and purple - so that 3 plants of each colour can be monitored when in flower.  So I've sown my dahlias today and really looking forward to helping out ths project - operation keep the slugs away begins again!!

Beautiful warm, sunny Spring day in Essex today! Tulips have begun to open today so lovely to see!
