Selfie with new hat and blinds

I think I have, what is known in the trade as, a face only a mother could love but I am posting a rare selfie to show off my lovely new hand-knitted hat and to show frogbit my new kitchen blinds following her post of yesterday.
The hat was knitted by my friend Meryl who I used to share an office with in Lossiemouth over 20 years ago. Haven't seen her for 17 years but we've kept in touch and met for lunch today. She sells her knitted hats etc around Morayshire and I was very pleased to receive one as a gift.
