Pulsatilla

I love these delicate flowers with the very hairy leaves and petals. The tiny hairs make a very good trap for raindrops.

My flowers in my two clumps are not yet open  .... this lovely pink Pasque Flower is growing in a nearby garden. As I was taking my photograph this morning the lady of the house left for work but not before we'd had a chat about about gardens and she had very kindly allowed me to stand on her lawn to take a better photo.
