Walking on Water

With a chance to revisit old haunts today - and a beautifully warm and sunny day - I took the camera down to the river beside Caversham bridge.

Lots of activity among the bird population. This coot was being chased (by another coot, I think) and was making a rapid getaway. I think I've caught him with no feet touching the water, but in fact he didn't bother taking off once he'd scrambled away to a safe distance.
