Fritillaries
It is Abstract Thursday with an architecture theme, and perhaps one could imagine the chequerboard brick-work on the petals of the fritillary as architectural. But in truth it's simply that I love fritillaries and these are growing in the central flower bed in the back garden.
Life is still a tad staid and apart from hospital visits we're not doing a great deal at the moment. That's actually fine when the garden is as sunny as it was today, and we spent a lot of the day sat, in both garden and sunshine, reading.
This single shot was processed with Macphun's Aurora HDR 2017, which I'm trying to get to grips with. I look forward to taking some bracketed shots and seeing what I can do with it...
