Architectural, loosely
Playing around again. This is a triple exposure in Photoshop, not in camera. The texture is the bottom of a skip which I've also posted as an extra because the scraped paint and rust are such good colours together.
Blip 1904. In 1904 Elizabeth J. Phillips (nee Magie) was granted a patent for her creation, ‘The Landlord's Game’, the precursor of Monopoly. It was designed to demonstrate the evils of land monopolism, as generations of children didn't subsequently realise.
I was a vile player as a child. I lent everyone money so I could grind them into the dust. I've no idea why they carried on playing with me but at least I got my capitalism over and done with young.
