Rothesay ferry

Another grey day saw us head south to the tip of the peninsula, looking downriver past Bute to the Cumbraes and the hidden peaks of Arran - still grey, still enveloped in cloud, but rather lighter than further inland, where the hills had vanished altogether.

The trim ship which seems to sit right on the horizon is the Cal Mac ferry from Rothesay to Wemyss Bay.
