Last evening in our little garden paradise

Fact can be stranger than fiction. And the fact is that we spent our last day here in CA with our next door neighbors from CO! They are in CA with their 3 kids on Spring break and wanted some time at the beach. So once they arrived from their base camp an hour inland, we showed them the beach and playground 3 blocks from here, took them to the neighborhood pizza shop for lunch, then set them loose while we packed. Then we regrouped for a trip to the Thursday night street fair for supper. Now they are on their way back inland and we are winding down for a quiet last evening.
