White Trillium
A friend had heard that there were a couple of Pileated Woodpeckers seen in a nearby nature park, so we decided to go for a walk with our cameras today. We never found the Pileated Woodpecker, but the white trilliums were in full bloom all over the park. They are so beautiful with there three petals and three leaves which are seldom seen in home gardens so you almost have to go into the wooded areas to see them. The weather was decent on our walk, only a few raindrops fell on us. We saw pairs of Sapsuckers, BlueJays, Robins, Wrens, Sparrows, Bush Tits, Thrush and chickadees......nest building and mating. It is definitely Spring!
Thanks for stopping by today. I appreciate you taking the time to look at my photo and follow me today. :-))
