At Last....Harvesting

Nearly a month ago I blipped a field of wheat and said only a few dry, sunny days before it would be ready.

Well, as we all know, August didn't provide, but so far September is doing just fine. Today the combine is out in the fields near us and the wheat is being harvested.

We are in Wharfedale, right on the edge of the pennines so we can expect to be a bit later than the drier, sunnier east of the country, but this year has been exceptionally wet and cool.
