Jam tomorrow?

Pretty blossom on our Victoria plum tree promises a good crop in August. There are usually enough plums to make a few jars of jam. It is a small tree, it has never really flourished but we value the plums it produces. Victorias are by far the best plums.
I waited patiently for the bee to settle, but it just hovered, then flew away. I was pleased to see it, and other pollinators busy on the tree, as we hear so much about the threat to their future,
