Sunshine and sunflowers

At the cemetery there's a big field of sunflowers so I took this photo while we were leaving. Yesterday was a grey and windy day, so my cousin and I decided to wait until today to do the replanting on the grave. Today was sunshine and windy, really nice weather! We bought flowers from the flower shop in my area of the town. A great shop with lots of nice things and flowers! My cousin just smiled when I took a little tour of my own while he was at the checkout, not really wanting to leave. I didn't buy anything though, because of the rather long walk to the cemetery and then I hade a doctor's appointment afterwards. The grave looks really nice now with heather in a pinkish colour and a plant I don't know the English word for but it has leafs that looks a bit like oak leafs, in a white-silvery colour . They look really nice together and are plants that can last all autumn. :)
After our visit to the cemetery we parted after a while, he was going home and I was on my way to see my doctor. He knows what to say, on instinct I think. He said that I am still young, only 41 years and I have many years ahead for work. I think he might have picked up on my frustration when I told him about all the horrors I watch on TV now, on the situation in Syria, and I just want to go there and help people. But since I'm sick, I can't! And the years just go on by. :(
On the fun side of his comment, I had a conversation with a friend last evening and joked about how I would be when I got older. We were talking about embroidery and I have some that are half finished, that I don't think I'm going to finish but I don't want to give away. So my joke was that when I get older I will be an eccentric old woman with lots of framed embroidery on my walls, along with lots of books. I would have two cats, but since I'm allergic it would have to be these Chinese naked cats and I would sew and knit clothes for them. So, I'm thinking of my days as an old woman - feeling a bit old sometimes, and my doctor says that I'm still young. That was a bit funny! At least in my world. ;)
I walked a total of 9,2 kilometres today! Not going to walk that long tomorrow... :)
