Spring

Always a decent sign of Spring when the Wheatears arrive from Africa. I actually saw my first on Friday but it was on the way to school and it and I didn't want to stop.
This one was right by the road less than a mile from the house. Really special birds, especially when you think of the migration they undertake each year.
Such a good day, we have friends round for some wine on the terrace outside. Got a bit chill at 5:30 but fine before that. The Wheatears have clearly got it right.
