Daisies burn April grass with silver fires...
At last, sunshine and warmth. Daisies scattered on the lawn and solitary bees sunning themselves in sheltered corners, feeding on the forget-me-nots and gooseberry flowers.
I spent the afternoon in the garden , planting our new purchases and pruning a few of the winter flowering shrubs. When I got bored with that I tried out my new (second-hand) lens that arrived while I was away. Challenging to use, but I think I'll have a lot of fun with it. Now I can really get in close!!
