The elephant and the turtle

You can see strange things with the help of a bottle of whisky.

Long day. Emotional farewells times about five, three of them big ones. Lots of cakes which I resisted. Beer and whisky tonight which I didn't. In between three very big meetings and a lot of thinking on my feet. I'm always gobsmacked at how much information has to be processed on a day like today. Got a couple of nice compliments. 

TSM and I did impromptu date night in the local pub tonight, which was  lovely.

Could do with a rest now.
