Flower Friday

Today it has been thunderstorms on and off all day and when the rain comes down it comes down by the bucket full!  

I put a piece of gauze over my lens today and nipped outside between a couple of the down pours to snap a couple of photos.

It made me think of the days when Hollywood filmed certain stars though cheesecloth.  It was to 'soften' their looks so no fine lines etc could be seen.  Doris Day comes to mind as I remember it being in her contract about those "softer looks".  :-)
