David Wilson first came to the Isle of Lewis to work for me as designer on the production of the Gaelic TV drama serial, "Machair". We became mates, and when the show was over he stayed and has never left. We then collaborated on the photo book, "Hebrides", which featured David's extraordinary photographs of the islands. Years earlier we also collaborated on rap party musical extravaganzas, which we relived today when I called in at his west coast Lewis home this afternoon.
