They Weren't Wrong

It has been snowing a light very pretty snow all day long.  I met up with a couple of friends for lunch at the mall and it was a perfect Christmas shopping day.  The only trouble is, we are no where near Christmas!!  The roads were not snow covered til late in the afternoon so driving early was not a problem.  The photo is the maple tree in our yard, those sweet little red buds being shocked by the snow I'm sure.  So I am completely enjoying all of the spring flowers and flowering trees on Blip this week and holding hope for our little place in the world.   The saying is that if March comes in like a lamb, it will go out like a lion, this just may be the case this year.
