Ups and Downs
There have been a lot of changes for our family with a new country, new job for my husband and a brand new (early) baby. Change isn't always easy and our family doesn't tend to take the simple (or boring) path.
My twins are taking a bit of adjusting to our new life. This morning was a particularly trying time for me at home with them.
I'm so thankful for the support we receive from all sides of the globe (NZ, Europe and now Dubai). A good friend of mine, who I look up to highly Skyped me in my time of frustration and again I could see the light at the end of the tunnel.
Thank goodness for technology and being able to keep in touch. My husband's status update this morning read:
"1999: You can ring me on my mobile or at home. You can email me at work. You can send me a letter. You can send me text message!
2012: If you want to contact me you can send me an email to Gmail, Work, iCloud or HotMail. Ring me on my mobile, work, home phone or Skype. Chat to me on Skype, Facebook, MSN or Sametime. Send me a message on Facebook, Skype, iMessage, SMS, LinkedIn or Whatsapps. Post on my Facebook or Google+ wall. Send me a letter! I will see your emails, anything from Facebook and Skype on my work notebook, home pc, phone, iPad and soon on my TV. I will see anything else electronic on at least two of these devices, if not three. (And I bet I missed some stuff too)"
I was worried about moving away from so many of the amazing friends we have made. In reality, it hasn't seemed like we are that far after all.
So today's photo is of my three beautiful children, of which at this present time one is attached and the other two are tucked up snuggly in their 'car' and 'garden' beds.
