2017 Friday -- The Before & After

Several rooms in our SoCal house have needed a facelift for a very long time. Today that facelift had the first episode. The fluorescent lights and very ugly plastic were removed and "canned" lights were installed in the kitchen, in our master bathroom, and in the small downstairs bathroom.

So this is a view of the kitchen early this morning and then later this afternoon after the electrian and the wallboard guys were done working their magic. Then next month the painters will arrive and work their wonders.

So far, I am very pleased with what has been accomplished. The construction crew of six guys was in all three rooms at the same time and that was a little overwhelming. They were very polite and amazingly clean and tidy. They put drop-cloth over all the floors and completely covered walls, appliances, and everything. When they were finished they swept and cleaned-up. I was impressed!
