High-sky playground

This is the roof of an old school, now used as rather nice and well-preserved offices (unlike my tweet earlier in the week!) 

Interestingly, this roof is where the playground used to be. Isn't that weird? 

The school is Victorian - I can only think the idea was hatched as space may have been tight in the slums of Glasgow therefore playing on the roof would have been a sensible idea.The walls are high so presumably it would have been perfectly safe.
