Job done

I had to cover a sick colleague in the morning but that gave me the opportunity to dismantle a clock which is now in the cleaner.  After lunch I reassembled the bench I have been working on.  I might give it one more lick of paint but that will be it now.  If truth be told, it is more ornamental than practical.  On the rare occasions that I sit in the garden, I tend to sit on the stone bench by the pond.  The rest of the afternoon will be devoted to a walk, a steak dinner and then the film, 'I Daniel Blake.'
