Patrick...

A fairly quiet day starting with Patrick demanding his breakfast at 6am and then sulking at the top of the stairs when there was no obvious sign that it was coming...

Claire offered me lunch today... her treat!  So we went to a burger restaurant called 5 Guys. This I guess is an American chain started by four young men who have a love for large echoing spaces and wooden benches, oh yes and burgers.

There was a huge pile of potatoes in sacks by the counter, all waiting to be turned into chips but thankfully, there was no sign of large bovines tied to chairs waiting... well, you know...

Truth to be told, the burger was delicious, and the chips were high on the list of 'best I've had'... Afterwards we walked it off with a turn around Wandlebury. Thanks Claire x
