Not a pretty site.....

...... but a pretty sky.  When I woke this morning I could just see the beginning of this lovely sky so I jumped up, threw my clothes on and was out of the door.  I knew there wasn't much time so I only had time to drive down to a not so picturesque part of the river Calder for a blip.  It lasted about eight minutes tops and although I can't say I like the subject matter I can't not show you the wonderful sky.

We had to make an unexpected visit to hospital today where my poor brother is at the moment.  He was admitted on Friday morning and despite not being well he's keeping remarkably cheerful;  there is a shortage of beds and staff and so instead of looking forward to being home in a few days it looks like he could be there for a couple of weeks.
