Happy April Fools' Day

We woke up to a dusting of snow on the ground and a light rain falling. I usually stop filling the feeders by this time so as not to attract the waking bears, but the weather has been so lousy that there have been birds coming to feed that aren't usually around when it's still this cold.

Here the red winged black bird is a little fluffed up in the lilac bush, and Mr and Mrs Cardinal are getting a bite to eat.
