Celandine wood

After parkrun this morning we headed out to the Arbroath cliffs for a wander. The sun came out and so did the celandines, I don't think I've seen as many in one area. We only ventured a little way into the woods before returning above the shore.
On the outward journey we took the low route as the tide was out and managed to avoid being eaten (see extra) and found a patch of butterbur (another extra).
There was a very heavy shower on the way home but then the sun came out so we were forced to sit in the garden with books!
