The verdict is in...

Research has been done into the capabilities of the houses in our street to find out if they can take the stress of the earthquakes caused by natural gas extraction. The verdict is in now and the news is not that good. They want to strengthen the construction of the house and it means we have to move out for about four months.

We're going to be talking to lots of people about lots of things that need to be arranged. I don't like the prospect of all that. I don't like what they intend to do and I don't like the fact that the people who are responsible for the damage to our house in the first place, now seem to have the biggest say in how this is going to be fixed.

This is going to take a lot of our time and that's something we don't have available in huge supplies to begin with. I don't like it, but we'll see how this evolves...

PS: even though it's the first of April, I can assure you that this is not a joke.
