Kath's Kantha

My first attempt at Kantha Stitching.
I always think of it as Sashiko without the rules.
Sashiko is a very precise Japanese Stitching technique which was originally used for strengthening worn clothing, but is now used for decorative purposes.
I'm using a Kantha kit by Angela Daymond, a textile artist and teacher.
