Gin and Tonic

Carys came home from her sleepover very tired and emotional. Not surprising really as i was told they were still awake at 3am this morning and I collected her at 9am. Her mood improved considerably with a hot chocolate with cream and half a poppy seed and lemon muffin.

Back home we watched the ballet final of the BBC Young Dancer 2017. Carys picked the winner before the announcement was made and got it right!

Will was collected from his combined sleepover at Nanna's and party at St. Chris's. Mind he was so tired you'd have thought he'd been up until 3am. Snuggles and cuddlers (some of whom haven't seen action for a while) seemed to sort him out. He went straight to sleep when I turned his light out at 18.15, C wasn't far behind at 19.30. Hopefully they will both feel better for it tomorrow.
