Torquay United 0 Chester FC 1

Another long day following the mighty Blues. 

Under normal circumstances we would have stayed in Torquay for the weekend but kwdiane is still recuperating from her operation. Meanwhile my usual travelling companion went down with his partner for a few days so for the first time this season I went on the supporter's coach. Given the distance involved it was impressive that 182 Chester fans made the journey with many of them staying over.

Just like last week it was another ugly 1-0 win with a goal in the 80th minutes but it was well worth the effort and the team, which is down to the bare bones, worked very hard. 

Although I'm delighted with the win I would like to see Torquay avoid relegation. I thought they were unlucky to lose and it is a great place for a weekend football trip.
