Some interesting clouds this evening, above the new part of the village.

No idea how the developers got a planning permission to build such a 'little houses, on the hillside...' boring estate in the conservation village area, but apparently Midlothian Council is happy to grant planning permissions left, right and centre, which explains worsening traffic jams towards Edinburgh in the mornings and from Edinburgh at 4pm. I reckon if they keep adding commuter housing estates just outside Edinburgh at the same rate as now, but no new infrastructure like shops, GP practices, workplaces, schools, than in 5 years time the roads will get completely jammed.
