The Southern Trip

On our trip to Mississippi, we drove through the old south, 6 states in all.  Starting in North Carolina, then South Carolina (because of North Carolina's recent craziness, some are calling South Carolina "North Georgia", Alabama, Mississippi, Tennessee, and back to NC.

At each state welcome station (Info Center, Rest Area), maps of the states are provided.  I takes one back to the pre GPS days.
