Out for the hunt

Lisa and I went down to Skagit Valley to see if we could run across any good pictures and found there was quite a bit of action with hawks, eagles and this one owl out hunting who actually caught his dinner but dropped it in flight. He circled back a few times looking for whatever it was but the "hunted" seemed to have been given a second chance at life and the owl was off to the next search for food.
