Turning tides, Solway Firth

Spent an excellent day at the North-West Cumbrian coast, overlooking Scotland on the other side of the Solway, I think everyone was happy with their pics.

I used a 3 stop ND filter to slow the shutter speed down to 1/3rd sec, and a 0.6 ND grad to stop the cloud detail from blowing out. In order to get the maximum feel of water "flow", I waited for a big wave, and took the shot as it was flowing out, rather than in. (It really does make a difference!)
