What the.....

heck is Wombat up to?????

This little red robin called by again this morning, just as I was on the phone to Gemaxphotos.  I couldn't believe that I had time to finish our conversation, find my camera, insert the memory card and fire off three shots.  I have an idea why the little bird was so nonplussed and finding it hard to move on, it was surveying the chaotic scene that had descended on Wombat Hollow.  I had decided to clean the Billabong!!

This job has been well overdue and today was the day.  By the end of the day I had moved about ten ton of pebbles and LARGE river stones from the bottom of the pond, along with very heavy water plants and besser blocks and bricks, even Kwan Yin got a makeover.  I decided that I would add the chaos panorama just so you can fully understand why the red robin was transfixed for so long.  Believe me it's well worth having a look at the extra.  In the name of art I'm calling this a "Deconstructed Billabong", a bit like a "Deconstructed Apple Pie".

It was good to see Geoff tonight.  He came out to pick up a copy of the cookbook featured in Saturday's journal.  (Geoff's spectacular sunrise image is featured in the book). We have had time to sit and go through the book today and I think it is arguably the best one in my collection.  It is an action packed and enthralling read, and yes its a cookbook.  I don't think there's a recipe in the 200 page book that I won't be cooking.  Happy to say that I have had an order from one of my New Zealand Blip Buddies and a West Aussie Blipper is also keen to get her hands on one.  I'm very happy to arrange it for any of you who would like to purchase one.  The recipes would be appropriate in any country in the world.  They're tried and true classics.

I hope all of my blip buddies throughout the world have had a wonderful weekend.

PS - Just realised the panoramic taken on my iphone6 indicates how exhausted I was after moving all the rocks.  Apologies for the poor quality of the image, but it sure does tell a story.  I promise to add an after photo when it's squeaky clean and reconstructed.
