Woo hoo!

"A Celebration of 150 Years of Romiley Station" is taking place this weekend.
The old "Railway" Pub which stands alongside has recently undergone a transformation into a very nice wine bar and has been renamed "Platform One."

It will be interesting to see some photos of the station in bygone days and possibly of some of the steam trains that used to use this line.

In case you hadn't realised " Woo Hoo " is my impression of a steam train.
