Iron Man

Spent the day in Newcastle, doing a day's course - 'Acrylics for Beginners' - at Newcastle Arts Centre. Painted a portrait using various techniques. Hard work but thoroughly enjoyable! The Iron Man sculpture stands in the Black Swan courtyard behind the Arts Centre.  

MrM very kindly drove me down to Alnmouth to catch the train into Newcastle, and picked me up at the end of the day. We arrived home with time to get changed and go straight out for a meal with friends. Not planning to set the alarm clock tomorrow morning...
