I haven't posted a Sun for a while as it has been quiet and sunspot free. This whopper has grown very quickly from a tiny single core to a complex group over 150,000 kms across. I recommend viewing spaceweather.com which has a timelapse view of the development and rotation across the Sun of these groups.
